Methodology
This project follows a transparent, research-forward approach. Articles are written to be descriptive and verifiable rather than prescriptive or promotional.
Sources and Evidence
- Primary sources: official documentation, regulatory filings, platform terms, and public datasets.
- Secondary sources: reputable journalism, academic literature, and credible market research.
- Avoidance of conflicts: material with clear sales incentives is treated with caution or excluded.
Editorial Process
- Scope definition and outline for every new entry.
- Fact checking across at least two independent sources where feasible.
- Plain-language explanations with definitions for domain-specific jargon.
- Balanced presentation: benefits, limitations, risks, and typical failure modes.
Versioning and Updates
Substantive updates include a short note describing what changed and why. If data is revised, the date and source are cited inline.
Style Conventions
- Use of international English and metric or dual units when relevant.
- Dates in ISO format (
YYYY-MM-DD
). - Neutral tone; avoid prescriptive advice unless supported by strong evidence.
